Abstract

Since 1985, 776 teams have participated in the International Team Excellence Award competition. This year's winning teams are: Gold Award - Reliance Industries Limited, India, Polyester Fiberfill Cost Reduction Team; Silver Award - Boeing C17 Program, Transportation Tracking Team; Bronze Award - Siemans VDO Guadalajara, Mexico, Mack Trucks Plant Failures Reduction Six Sigma Team. Organizations encourage their teams to participate in the competition for recognition, self-assessment and improvement, benchmarking, and to encouraging excellence.
