Abstract
Upper management must simultaneously manage five key elements, referred to here as the Five Pillars of Organizational Excellence, if an organization is to succeed. The five elements are process management, project management, change management, knowledge management, and resource management. Learning to manage them together is the key to success in the pursuit of organizational excellence.Each of the five pillars is discussed separately.
