Abstract

Organizations are dynamic, evolving systems that change over time based on what happens to them, within them, and around them. While it might not be possible to entirely manage change, it is possible to create an organization that has the people and processes needed to respond to its environment in a way that fulfills its vision. By recognizing noticeable patterns of successfully implementing change, the �Eight Rings of Organizational Influence� were developed. This model can effectively drive improvement activities, motivate and train a workforce, and achieve lasting business results. It can also provide a systematic view of the characteristics that enable leaders to think like leaders and structure their organization in ways that will bring about successful change.
