Abstract
[This abstract is based on the author's abstract.]The graphical and mathematical tools used in reliability analysis are used to determine the cause and effects between simple events and complex outcomes. One such tool, fault tree analysis, is used to determine an outcome that must succeed with high reliability and a low probability of failure. It is a powerful tool that permits superior and more cost effective systems leading to customer satisfaction and trust.
