Abstract
Several elements can help insure that changes made in a Six Sigma program are sustained. Up-front analyses such as flowcharts or value stream maps, the identification of the people affecting a process, and RACI charts create a basis for sustainable change. Structures like standard work, skill versatility matrices, training, metrics, leadership action matrices and daily leadership checklists sustain the process changes developed by a Six Sigma project.
