Abstract

AI is not a replacement for a human’s role in LSS, but a powerful enabler of its principles. It is not a shortcut, however. When combined with tools such as VSM, AI transforms traditional process analysis from a static, manual exercise into a dynamic, data-informed and continuously improving system. Organizations that adopt AI-enhanced systems will be better positioned to optimize their value streams, drive out waste, overcome risks and deliver exceptional customer value—faster and more reliably than ever before.
