Abstract

Process audits are powerful and generally under utilized. Generally, a factory uses a number of processes to produce its product. Each of these processes is affected by six factors: methods, materials, manpower, machinery, measurement, and environment. These affectors have underlying requirements that must be examined during the audit. With proper preparation and by focusing on one process per audit, the auditor can perform an in depth analysis in a minimum amount of time.
