Abstract
TEF, the Team Excellence Framework, is a set of criteria that can provide better organizational outcomes, improved internal operations, and an organizational culture that better motivates employees. The criteria are designed to ensure improvement in several key areas: selecting projects that support organizational goals, identifying root causes and selecting solutions that address them, institutionalizing improvements, creating a team, and getting stakeholder support for changes. Benefits of TEF include goal achievement, employee engagement, organizational learning about both improvement and existing processes, and the ability to replicate successes in one area in other parts of an organization.
