Abstract
[This abstract is based on the authors' abstract.]The automotive reference manual entitle "Measurement Systems Analysis" contains an analytic method the purpose of which is to estimate the gage repeatability of an attribute gage. An improved estimation procedure is presented that yields more accurate estimates and allows more flexibility in data collection than the existing standard. The two methods are compared in a simulation study, and errors contained in the existing standard are noted.
