Abstract
Today, SPC is a universally recognized method for formalizing process control. However, it is still largely applied to medium- or large-batch production. This article outlines the general principles of control and observation of production for small batches of 10-15 parts, using capability and control charts. It proposes a control chart, specifically designed for this type of production. It offers significant advantages, particularly for the production of "first-offs." Short- and long-term capability indexes for low-volume manufacturing can also be defined using it.
