Abstract
[This abstract is based on the editor's abstract.]
A generic model of the software quality assurance process may be used by an organization as a training tool, an aid to estimation, or a means to select or develop a set of standards and templates for documentation. The process model can provide a tool for constructing a work breakdown structure to use in estimating the cost and schedule for quality assurance activities on a proposed project. It may also be used as a guide to effective implementation of process improvement.
