Abstract
At some point you’ve likely been part of a project that was doomed from the start. Sometimes, it’s hard to understand why a project didn’t turn out the way you thought it would. But that’s not to say there’s no assignable cause to explain why projects fail. In fact, there are critical-to-success factors that, when not properly addressed, will lead to project failure. A few of the usual suspects are scope issues, divergent expectations and poor executive support.
