Abstract
ISO 9004:2009, the new standard for managing the sustained success of an organization, combines with other concepts of sustainability to meet the needs of the present without compromising future generations. Corporate sustainability is a business approach that creates long-term shareholder value by managing risks derived from economic, environmental, and social developments. The guidelines explain how to develop and maintain interrelated processes that result in intangible values needed to achieve long-term objectives.
