Abstract
The true test of a quality professional is his or her ability to make good, timely decisions. Decision making about the processes that make up a system can be enhanced using statistics. Processes talk to us. The problem is they speak the language of numbers. For many people, numbers are like a foreign language. What is a process trying to say? The answer to this question is the use of statistics as a system.
