Abstract
ISO 9001:2026—Quality management systems—requirements represents a thoughtful evolution of the world’s most widely adopted quality management system standard - one that reflects modern business realities without disrupting its core principles. From an auditing and certification perspective, the transition presents opportunities, not obstacles. Organizations that begin evaluating the changes early may be better positioned to incorporate new requirements into existing management system activities before transition deadlines.
