Abstract

Change is a guarantee in life, and while most change occurs at a slow enough pace for people or organizations to cope, sometimes technology and innovation can create rapid or disruptive change. Learning to manage change is a key skill for quality professionals and management to have. The philosophy of a growth mindset, rather than a fixed mindset, is one such way for quality professionals to navigate disruptive change. The growth mindset allows individuals to persevere in the face of disruptive change, rather than struggle against it.
