Abstract
Today’s fast-moving world is facing tremendous societal challenges, and the quality community must ensure this is matched by new ideas and evolutions about how people and organizations think about and apply quality. As responses to the appearance and development of Industry 4.0, SOCIETY 4.0 and SOCIETY 5.0, the quality movement should develop the connected paradigms of Quality 4.0, QUALITY 4.0 and QUALITY 5.0. This article illustrates how we may be living the emergence of Quality 4.0, QUALITY 4.0 and QUALITY 5.0, for which working conceptual definitions are provided and discussed.
