Abstract

Deviations are an expected part of manufacturing. The situation, background, assessment and recommendation (SBAR) method is a standardized, clear and concise method to capture and report information. The SBAR method allows all roles involved in a process to easily incorporate a thorough technique for investigations and helps determine the impact of a deviation while promoting efficiency in the process.
