Abstract
A case study on Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) done by the BASIS Chandler High School in Arizona sought to answer questions about why some states in the United States had much higher rates of CHD than other states. The case study gathered data from the CDC, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and Stanford University. Several risk factors for CHD were chosen and studied to show correlation between the risk factors and CHD.
