Abstract

Finding the root cause of a problem and taking the proper corrective and preventive action (CAPA) is vital to keeping an organization running efficiently. The final step in a CAPA plan is to evaluate if the action taken is a real solution to the initial problem. Once put in place, evaluating action plans can be murky. Different root causes can result in the same symptom or the same root cause can result in different symptoms. It is critical to have a timeframe and statically sound metrics for analysis to provide the best feedback.
