Abstract

Understanding and interpreting the complexities of cultural differences among countries can promote effective communication and foster a more inclusive and harmonious global community. Dutch social psychologist Gert Hofstede’s Country Comparison Tool can provide valuable insight into how people from different countries communicate, collaborate and work. The tool also can provide a deeper understanding of how societies function and how individuals within those societies perceive the world.
