Abstract
Often, the construction industry is seen as inefficient, contentious and wasteful. Traditional project delivery methods tend to reinforce siloed thinking, which ultimately compromises project quality. A possible solution is integrated project delivery (IPD). IPD harnesses the talents and insights of all project participants to reduce waste and optimize efficiency through every project phase. IPD offers a delivery model and culture aligned with continuous improvement to deliver significant communication, cost management and project quality improvements.
