Abstract

RACI—which stands for responsible (R), accountable (A), consulted (C) and informed (I)—is a project management tool used to define roles and responsibilities on cross-functional teams, thereby increasing accountability and ownership for different project milestones. When executed properly, a RACI is an effective project management tool that clarifies roles and responsibilities, highlights gaps and helps manage resources effectively.
