Abstract
The initial artificial intelligence (AI) hype is over, however the level of inaccuracy and unreliability continues to be concerning. Quality professionals must step in with proven quality management tools drive AI profitability and return on investment. Examples of proven quality management tools to incorporate into AI activities include a poor-quality cost model, statistical process control and a management system approach. Aligning adoption of AI with ISO 42001 helps organizations demonstrate to employees, clients, investors and partners that their practices are transparent, compliant and trustworthy.
