ASQ Announces 2025 Board of Directors

Milwaukee, Wis., June 27, 2024  — ASQ, the global authority on excellence and innovation for quality management and practices, has announced four of the incoming members to the 2025 Board of Directors. ASQ’s Board of Directors includes a diverse group of distinguished professionals with a wealth of experience and expertise from various sectors. These individuals will provide strategic guidance and governance to support the association's mission to empower individuals and communities worldwide to achieve excellence through quality.

The four new board members will begin their terms effective January 1, 2025, and include:

  • David Levy has been elected to serve as ASQ’s 2025 Chair-Elect, progressing to Chair in 2026. Levy is the Director of Quality and Safety for Boyce Technologies, Inc., New York. Levy has served in many roles within ASQ through Sections, the Geographic Communities Council (GCC), multiple Society committees, and the Board of Directors.
  • Lou Ann Lathrop has been elected to serve as the 2025 Treasurer of ASQ. Lathrop is the Supplier Quality Engineer with Stelantis, located in Detroit. She has served in multiple leadership roles within ASQ Divisions and the ASQ Board of Directors.
  • Christianna (Chris) Hayes is the Chief Operations Officer with iMpact Utah and will serve a two-year term as a Director. She has previously served on the ASQ Board of Directors as a representative of the Technical Communities Council (TCC), as TCC Vice-Chair, and on various Society committees.
  • Kathy Lyall, Global Director, Supplier Quality Engineering with Philips in Michigan, has been selected to serve a two-year term as a Director. Lyall has served in multiple leader roles within ASQ Sections, Divisions, and various Society committees.

“I am honored to be selected by both the ASQ Nominating Committee and the Society membership to serve as ASQ Chair for 2026,” said David Levy. “I am excited to lead our dedicated team of servant-leaders as we continually grow ASQ’s diverse community into the place where all quality-minded people strive to belong.” Daniella Picciotti, 2024 Chair Elect shared, “I am excited to engage and collaborate with such an esteemed group of professionals in ASQ’s 2025 Board of Directors. As a leadership team and with ASQ’s members, together we can advance ASQ’s impact in our global communities and continue our collective pursuit of excellence through quality.”
