ASQ Announces 2024 Board of Directors
Milwaukee, Wis., January 10, 2024 — ASQ, the leading association for people passionate about quality, has unveiled its distinguished lineup for the 2024 Board of Directors, a collective force set to guide the organization through the upcoming year. Comprised of esteemed professionals from diverse sectors, the board is poised to represent and champion the interests of ASQ's extensive global membership and the value of quality in the world today.
"As we embark on a new year, ASQ is thrilled to introduce the accomplished individuals who will form our 2024 Board of Directors,” said Wanda Sturm, ASQ 2024 Chair. “This esteemed group brings a wealth of expertise and a shared commitment to advancing quality standards across industries.”
Sturm is a senior project consultant for Resources Global Professionals, a next-gen global project solutions consulting firm, providing human capital services to clients. She has served in many roles within ASQ, including in Section and Division member leader positions, and as a member of the Board of Directors since 2019. She holds certifications in change management and Six Sigma Master Black Belt, along with certificates in team performance, systems thinking, and high-performance coaching.
Key responsibilities of the ASQ Board of Directors include adopting a forward direction that aligns with the organization's mission, vision, and values. They are entrusted with overseeing the organization's operations and ensuring it remains at the forefront of quality leadership worldwide. The board’s multifaceted responsibilities include the adoption of a strategic plan and budget, setting the organization's direction, providing essential resources, and approving pivotal policies.
