New myASQ Community Platform Offers Quality Professionals Networking, Engagement
Centralized online platform to officially launch at ASQ’s World Conference on Quality and Improvement
Milwaukee, Wis., April 24, 2018 — At its World Conference on Quality and Improvement, ASQ will launch myASQ — a centralized online community providing timely, relevant and customizable engagement for ASQ members and quality professionals around the globe.
myASQ will allow quality professionals to interact with like-minded individuals with whom they can network and discuss popular topics facing the greater quality community. Key features of the new platform include discussion boards, blogs, news and events listings.
Users will be able to initiate and contribute to discussions about quality topics they are interested in and access communities based on geographic location and industry.
myASQ replaces ASQ’s previous community platform, building on existing strengths such as communication, collaboration and social sharing while enhancing the ability to serve audience segments through personalization and the development of communities.
The new community platform allows ASQ to offer greater member value through functionality and access to member-only areas and content.
“myASQ will offer ASQ members the best opportunities to network and make connections in the global quality community, enhancing member value,” said Jim Templin, executive director of individual membership solutions. “The launch of myASQ will provide members with community-driven content through an improved online platform. Through sharing and networking, myASQ will help quality professionals succeed.”
While already available at my.asq.org, myASQ will be officially launched April 30-May 2 in Seattle at ASQ’s World Conference on Quality and Improvement, the world’s largest quality conference, attracting approximately 2,500 attendees from more than 45 countries.
Themed “The Innovation of You,” the conference will focus on the future of quality and the growing need for quality professionals to think outside the box in increasingly disruptive business conditions.
As myASQ grows, ASQ will continue to add communities, features, functionality, content, as well as continue with the refinement of content and programming for increased user engagement.About ASQ
