Root Cause Analysis

Course ID RCAASQ
Format Web-based

Root cause analysis, a problem-solving approach aimed at identifying, analyzing, and resolving the underlying, core issue (or root cause) of a problem, helps you identify what and how a problem occurred, but most importantly, why a problem occurred. Using root cause analysis to fully understand the why behind a problem, you can identify and recommend solutions that eliminate the problem and result in permanent, lasting improvement.

In this easy-to-follow eLearning course, equipped with engaging voice-over narration and compelling content-supporting visuals, animations, and hands-on interactions, learn about root cause analysis and several tools you can use to identify the root causes of a problem, including 5 Whys, process mapping, force field analysis and relational matrices. Review practical, real-life scenarios to see how project teams use these tools for root cause analysis and complete challenging scenario-specific activities to apply what you’ve learned.
