Print Reading for Today
Looking at drawings, but not sure what you’re looking at? This course will not only teach you how to read a manufacturing print, but you’ll have fun doing it.
Whether on paper or a CAD screen, the primary method of documenting design intent remains the Engineering Drawing. In spite of this, many employees looking at prints do not know how to read and understand these drawings. Industrial prints are an integral part of documenting manufacturing processes. This seminar recognizes the problem and presents this topic in an efficient and appropriate manner for today’s industry.
Print Reading is intended for all personnel who need to understand the meaning of drawings / prints. Emphasis is placed on understanding multiview relationships, symbology and conventional dimensioning and tolerancing methods. Numerous exercises involving the reading of prints will be utilized throughout. Participants are encouraged to use their own prints during the course.
Included with the purchase of this course is access to the Print Reading for Today eBook and a 20% discount off the purchase of the hardcover version through Tec-Ease.
