Professional Experience

Richard Maclin has over 20 years of continuous improvement experience. He has served various industries in roles specializing in Quality Assurance, Supplier Development, Outsourcing, Lean, Kaizen, Product Realization, and Operations. Throughout his career he has helped companies grow their bottom line by identifying and eliminating variation and other non-value added activity. His success is the result of strategic process improvement techniques like VA/NVA, VSM, Lean Six Sigma, 5S and Kaizen.

Richard has held positions with Toyoda Gosei, United Technologies, ArvinMeritor, Trelleborg, Superior Industries, and Gates Corporation and currently serves clients in the automotive, aerospace, consumer products, food service, industrial, Health Care, and nuclear industries.

Richard is an instructor and Managing Master Black Belt for CI Solutions, LLP. He has demonstrated Lean Six Sigma results through his work with previous employers and most recently with CI Solutions. He is an adjunct instructor at Northwest Arkansas Community College, Tulsa Technology Center, and Francis Tuttle Technology Center. Richard is a member of his local ASQ section, he participated in the ASQ Six Sigma Black Belt Exam Committee, spoke at the 2015 and 2016 ASQ Lean and Six Sigma Conference, and is a member of the ASQ Six Sigma Forum Advisory Council.
