Janet Nelson is president of OQL Solutions and The WorkOut Consortium. The sister-companies are certified, woman-owned businesses. OQL is a resource specializing in Operations, Quality, and Customer Loyalty improvements, and TWoC provides consulting services geared to managing change and growth. Janet has a record of leading teams in successfully improving operational efficiencies, quality performance, ISO certification, customer loyalty & retention, and in positively impacting the bottom line. In her consulting and corporate experiences, Janet has delivered measurable improvements in processes, products & services, plus employee and customer satisfaction.

Her background is as a successful corporate leader experienced in operations, product development & engineering, quality, and strategy. Past positions include Xerox Corporation, Eastman Kodak and Print-Rite of China. Janet has worked with small companies and not-for profits. A special area of strength for Janet is knowing the ways and means of soliciting customer input and turning it into actionable initiatives. She is a practitioner and user of what she teaches.

Janet has presented in such diverse places as the Unisys Quality Benchmarking Forum, Rochester Society of Quality; Bryant and Stratton Business School; the Chinese Association of Women in Science and Technology (Bejing) and HCA of Tennessee (Health).

She has served on boards of the Turnaround Management Assoc., Rochester Salvation Army, Wayne County Business Council, Flower City Habitat for Humanity and the Greater Rochester Quality Council. She's a senior member of the American Society for Quality, Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce, NAFE and has served as adjunct faculty for Empire State.
