Gary’s experience includes 58+ years in industry in the field of measurements and calibration. He served 2 years at Northwest Airlines as a radio-mechanic/electronic technician troubleshooting and calibrating communications equipment and flight simulators. He worked in the quality field at Honeywell in the instrument repair and calibration lab, and also as a Quality Engineer, followed by a career selling test equipment as a manufacturer’s rep for the Kenneth W. Meyers Company.

Gary returned to the instrument service field for 11 years as a Field Service technician and trainer for Philip’s Test and Measuring Instruments. Upon closure of that service facility, he opened his own calibration lab, Meyer Electronics, for 3 years.

Gary spent 13 years at Ridgewater College in Hutchinson, MN, teaching metrology, electronics, and computer technology. He retired from Ridgewater College in 2001 and opened up his own metrology consulting company, J&G Technology in Shakopee, MN, where he continues to develop and present courses in quality, measurements, calibration, and ASQ Certification Preparation courses for the CCT, CQT, and CQI.
