How do I access my eBook?

Some of our previously published digital books are in PDF format. As of 2021, Quality Press moved to the ePub format for digital books.

PDFs: For PDF formats of eBooks, simply download Acrobat Reader to your device, which is free software available for download at www.adobe.com.

ePubs: For our newer eBooks, a software reader that is compatible with .ePub format is required. We recommend Adobe Digital Editions, which is free software available for download at www.adobe.com. When reading on a mobile device, such as Apple or Android, the preinstalled reader is compatible.

May I share my eBook with others?

Unless the copyright statement within the eBook specifies otherwise, all content is copyrighted and may not be copied, reproduced, or shared.

You may not give away an eBook or transfer the user rights to another individual, group, or organization if it has been purchased under your name. eBooks cannot be shared with your staff. Each member of your staff must purchase and download a separate copy of the eBook.

You are not allowed to sell, lend, or distribute your eBook to another user, group, or organization.

My preferred device for eBooks is the Amazon Kindle.

The Amazon Kindle requires a proprietary eBook format and is not compatible with digital publications sold from our store. Many of our publications are available for purchase from Amazon’s Kindle store.

May I print or copy and paste my eBook?

To protect its intellectual property, ASQ’s Quality Press holds digital rights to its eBooks, which do not permit printing and copying. Softcover and hardcover versions of most of our titles are available for customers who prefer printed materials.

Certification exams are open book. If I purchased an eBook, may I print it out and take it with me to the certification exam testing site?

For copyright protection and proprietary intellectual property, you are not authorized to print out an eBook and bring it with you to a certification testing site.

ASQ’s Certification provides specific guidelines about the type of “open book” permitted while sitting for a certification exam. For detailed information, download certification process guidelines and see page 22 under Reference Materials.

How can I place an order?

Is there special pricing for ASQ members?

Yes, all members receive discounts on ASQ published products. Member prices are listed on the website. Member discounts do not apply to Baldrige Framework products or third-party products.

Are volume discounts offered?

Yes. Volume discounts start at 5% off. Discounts are available on ASQ published products only. For details, please email [email protected] or you may also contact ASQ.

Payment Information

What forms of payment are accepted?

We accept MasterCard, VISA, American Express, purchase order (hard copy only), check, and wire transfer.

Payments must be made in U.S. currency. Checks must be drawn on a U.S. financial institution and made payable to ASQ. All international orders must be prepaid; no foreign purchase orders.

Can I order online without a credit card?

Shipping Information

How long will it take my order to arrive?

Standard shipping time for orders in the United States can take 5-7 business days for delivery. Anything delivered internationally can take 1-3 weeks for delivery due to customs delays, etc.

Is it possible to get tracking information for a shipped order?

Do you ship to my country?

We ship to all countries unless they are under the U.S. General Trade Embargo.

Do I have to pay customs fees outside the U.S.?

If you live outside the United States, customs and tariff fees may apply according to your country’s import laws. These fees are not collected by Quality Press nor does it have control of these fees.

Quality Press is not responsible for customs or broker's fees. The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. You should contact your local customs office for further information. Customers are liable for any fees charged by customs or by parcel carrier if an order is refused by the customer at time of delivery.

Failed Delivery Attempts

Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain more than $400 of merchandise will always require a signature; otherwise, it is generally up to the carrier to determine whether a signature is required. If the carrier’s driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.

What is the Bookstore’s return policy?

Quality Press backs the quality of its products sold directly to you and your satisfaction. If the product you order directly from us is defective in any way, please provide images of the packaging, the damage to the product (along with a copy of your packing slip within 90 days of purchase), and email them email to [email protected]. We will gladly issue a credit or replacement product. You do not need to send the product back to receive a replacement or credit, but you do need to provide images and the packing slip as proof.

For specific conditions for returning products, please see the returns policy details. If a customer does not follow the return policy, a credit will not be issued.

I bought a product through Amazon and the quality of the product is poor. Will Quality Press replace it for free or issue a credit?

Quality Press cannot guarantee the quality of products sold through third-party vendors and distributors. If a customer receives a defective product, it’s the customer’s responsibility to contact the vendor directly.

I bought a printed version of a book but would prefer an eBook instead. Will Quality Press do an exchange?

We do not offer exchanges for another format. Please be sure of which format you would like prior to completing your purchase.

Please use the appropriate subject line (e.g., “permission to reproduce content,” “license content request,” or “foreign language translation permission”). Provide the item # (e.g, H1551), book title, and year of publication, which publication you are seeking information about, quantity of projected sales for the first 3 years per year, and proposed list price (converted in U.S. dollars).
