ASQ Annual Conference Schedule Kicks Off with the Lean and Six Sigma Conference
This year’s conference will focus on ways attendees can apply Lean and Six Sigma practices for organizational excellence
Milwaukee, February 18, 2020 — As part of its commitment to education, training and certification for quality professionals, ASQ will host its three flagship conferences in 2020, beginning with the 19th Lean and Six Sigma Conference. This year’s conference, Applying Lean and Six Sigma for Organizational Excellence, will be held Feb. 23-25 in Phoenix.
The annual Lean and Six Sigma Conference is an opportunity for the more than 500 quality professionals and thought leaders in attendance to put ideas and learning into action at all levels of their organizations.
“Lean and Six Sigma methodologies are foundational elements within the quality industry, but we are experiencing an evolution in how quality professionals put them into practice,” said Amy Heppe, director, strategic partnerships and events. “This year, ASQ has curated keynote speeches and experiences from a wide-ranging spectrum to spark creativity and explore new ways for attendees to identify how they can positively impact their organizations.”
Conference focus areas include “Embracing Change,” “Best of Lean and Six Sigma in the Digital Age,” “Integrating LSS Principles, Tools and Techniques into Quality 4.0,” and “Delivering on What’s Next.” The focus areas are designed to enable quality professionals to identify areas of growth and maximum impact in their own organizations in order to achieve business process excellence.
ASQ also hosts two additional conferences each year:
World Conference on Quality and Improvement (WCQI)
Taking place in Columbus from May 3-6, WCQI 2020 will inform and guide attendees in their mission to assess, increase, and leverage their expertise in the quality arena. The knowledge and insights shared at WCQI identify how quality professionals can significantly influence transformation initiatives at the individual and enterprise level.
Quality 4.0 Summit
Related to Industry 4.0, Quality 4.0 is the digitization of quality, management systems and compliance. It’s not just about technology itself, but rather the improvements in culture, collaboration, competency and leadership made possible by technology. Location and dates will be announced later in 2020.
