Digital Transformation, Change and Technology Trends Among Keynote Topics at ASQ’s Quality 4.0 Summit
Artificial intelligence, automation and connectivity required for future success, according to Summit presenter
Milwaukee, Wis., Nov. 6, 2018 — The global head of technology and innovation at Anheuser-Busch InBev and a business futurist specializing in technology are among the keynote speakers at the ASQ Quality 4.0 Summit on Disruption, Innovation, and Change Nov. 12 – 13 in Dallas.
The ASQ Quality 4.0 Summit connects quality leaders and teams to share ideas for advancing performance excellence practices throughout their organizations. The summit will provide organizations invaluable insights into the exponential growth of disruptive technologies and the changes those technologies are bringing to the workplace.
Keynote speakers include:- Benjamin Lavoie. Lavoie is the global director of technology at Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world’s largest beverage company, where he is responsible for digital transformation of the global supply organization, which includes making a supply chain consisting of more than 1,000 facilities across 126 countries real-time, connected and continuously optimizing.
- Patrick Schwerdtfeger. Schwerdtfeger is a business futurist specializing in technology trends including big data, artificial intelligence and blockchain. He’s the author of “Anarchy, Inc.: Profiting in a Decentralized World with Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain,” and has spoken about business trends, technology and digital marketing at hundreds of conferences all around the world.
- Shawn Rhodes. Rhodes is a global expert in how the highest-performing individuals and organizations pivot with change. He's a TEDx speaker and his work studying organizations has been published in news outlets around the world. Rhodes also is the author of the new book "Pivot Point: Turn on A Dime Without Sacrificing Results."
In addition to the keynote speakers, the Quality 4.0 Summit features sessions from innovation, technology and organizational excellence experts, including Chris Colaw, quality assurance engineering senior manager for Lockheed Martin Corp., presenting “Positioning Quality and Mission Success for Tomorrow.”
“The quality organization of tomorrow will require a shift toward greater intelligence and automation, digital connectivity across value streams, and improved success across all transactions,” Colaw said. “Results will be seen through gains in efficiency, effectiveness and open capacity in the quality department’s human capital. Available manpower can then be shifted to focus on oversight, auditing, data sampling and assurance, which will enable a focus on prevention and improve the customer collaboration experience at an affordable cost.”
The theme for the event is Organizational Excellence in the Digital Age, with focus areas on Industry 4.0, the Future of Quality, Digital Transformation, and Managing Change.
