2020 ASQ Annual Meeting


Join ASQ 2020 Chair Austin S. Lin and other leaders at the Society’s annual member meeting to hear about ASQ’s strategic path and activities from this past year. This is an opportunity to provide transparency on how ASQ conducts business to help you, as a member, understand how decisions are made and how your voice is reflected in the Society. 

11:30 AM Central Time, on Wednesday, October 14, 2020

Registration for the Annual Meeting is open and will close on Friday, October 9, 2020, at 12 PM Central Time to allow confirmation of all registrants and to confirm that a quorum will be present for the meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is to update the Society membership of Society activities and announce the results of the nominating committee.

Meeting Agenda will include:

  • Welcome & Address from Chair Austin S. Lin 
  • Financial Report by Board Treasurer Steve Shuelka
  • Nominating Committee Report
  • Incoming Chair Address by Janet Raddatz
  • Virtual Q&A 

Attendees can pose questions for speakers during the Virtual Q&A using the online chat feature. The Annual Meeting will be recorded and available for viewing on myASQ.org.

ASQ’s not-for-profit status is determined by the laws of the State of New York, where ASQ is incorporated as an educational organization to advance the public purpose of advancing the theory and practice of Quality.

According to ASQ Bylaws Article 10.1.3, meeting announcements shall be issued to all Regular Members, shall include the specific purpose of the meeting, and shall be announced at least 30 days in advance of the meeting date. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Attorney General of the State of New York has granted associations permission to hold the annual meeting virtually.
