David A. Behling is a Quality and Process Improvement professional with over 30 years of experience transforming organizations by building cultures of trust, Quality, Improvement, problem solving, and simplification. Deep expertise in developing individuals and teams to provide more value to customers by creating space for individuals & organizations to grow while adding revenue to the bottom line. He has successfully worked in diverse global manufacturing, office, & research environments including the metal processing, aerospace, automotive, non-profit, insurance & government industries.David is a hands-on leader who communicates and facilitates Quality and Improvement at all levels within an organization through servant leadership. He has a passion for helping individuals & teams find more joy in their work and home lives by creating more 'space' through simplifying processes & building sustainable systems. He has successfully guided transformations through teaching and coaching servant leadership, daily problem solving & identifying waste to provide better customer (internal & external) value. Some of the organizations he has been blessed to help are Collins Aerospace, Velvac., Sierra Electronics, ASQ, API Heat Transfer & Goodwill Industries.
David has managed and led Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100 / NADCAP) for manufacturing, aerospace, automotive and electronic organizations while passing all third-party and customer audits with increasing team member engagement. He has coached, trained & developed hundreds of leaders and teams in both Quality & Improvement from developing course materials, conducting classroom instruction, developing learning strategies, coaching other instructors, and serving as a mentor and/or coach. He accomplishes this by teaching and coaching servant leadership, daily problem solving and how to identify ways to provide better customer (internal & external) value.
He lives in Denver, CO, USA with his wife of 25+ years.
