Elizabeth M. Keim
Elizabeth “Liz” M. Keim has spent over forty years quietly but powerfully shaping the field of quality management. A dedicated consultant, educator, and mentor, Liz is known not only for her technical expertise in Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9000, and the Baldrige Excellence Framework but also for her collaborative leadership style and deep commitment to helping others grow.
As President of Integrated Quality Resources since 1999, Liz has worked with organizations worldwide to strengthen their quality systems and align continuous improvement efforts with business strategy. Her clients span diverse sectors—from healthcare and telecommunications to agriculture and finance—and she has earned a reputation for listening closely, tailoring solutions thoughtfully, and delivering measurable results.
Before founding her own firm, Liz held influential roles at IBM Global Services and GE Plastics. At IBM, she led efforts to integrate the Baldrige Criteria and quality measurement systems across the organization. At GE Plastics, she supported the global implementation of Six Sigma in commercial processes, achieving significant improvements in customer service and operational efficiency.
Liz’s service to the quality profession extends well beyond her consulting work. She served as Chair of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Board of Directors and played key roles in shaping ASQ’s strategic direction, including helping expand its reach and relevance internationally. She has also served in leadership roles with the International Academy for Quality (IAQ), most recently as its Chair.
An advocate for education and mentorship, Liz has taught Lean Six Sigma and quality management in graduate business programs, developed foundational training materials for ASQ, and supported the development of future leaders through coaching and guidance. Her writing and speaking engagements have focused on making complex topics approachable and practical.
Liz has been honored with several awards, including ASQ’s Distinguished Service Medal and the E. Jack Lancaster Medal. But what she values most are the relationships she’s built and the people she’s helped along the way.
Whether mentoring a young professional, facilitating a challenging strategic discussion, or leading an international workshop, Liz brings a quiet passion for excellence to everything she does.
