Abstract: As he established a quality assurance program in the information technology (IT) department at Southern California Edison, Jeff Balaban was also building a culture of quality. He mentored several colleagues and encouraged them to seek ASQ certification. With its recent focus on continuous improvement, Southern California Edison obtained two ASQ Site memberships to provide benefits to its IT staff.
