Question of the Week
Q: Is there a standard that governs rail transportation in Europe?
A: Yes. It's the International Railway Industry Standard, or IRIS. It was developed by the Association of European Railway Industries (UNIFE), supported by system integrators and equipment manufacturers.
Visit the IRIS Web site to read general information, get a list of the approved certification bodies (including contact information) and more.
