This course is designed to provide a broad understanding of the Six Sigma improvement methodology, concepts, and language, along with a complete toolbox of basic process improvement methods applied within a Six Sigma framework, including basic Statistical Process Control Charts. The course is targeted at a wide audience of Six Sigma team members who need familiarity with the overall process and the basic process improvement tools. The Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control methodology is presented with case studies and examples drawn from service and business process applications. This version of the Six Sigma Yellow Belt course is a 'transactional services' version, which focuses the DMAIC approach to process improvement on transactional processes typically found in service-oriented industries, including insurance, healthcare, mortgage lending, and banking, to name a few, or administrative functions common to corporate operations. This service-oriented content supplements the standard Six Sigma Yellow Belt course content so that the this version of the Yellow Belt course delivers the same body of knowledge as the standard version, but provides a transactional context for the instruction. The integration of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma is also addressed. Because it's designed with a heavy practice orientation, as much as a third of your time will be spent working through interactive practice exercises and online assessments. - Apply the following basic process improvement tools within the Six Sigma DMAIC improvement model: project charter, process map, thought process map, affinity diagram, CTQC tree diagram, Pareto chart, trend chart, XmR control chart, histogram, fishbone diagram, 5-why analysis, scatter plots, FMEA, benchmarking, brainstorming, error-proofing, corrective action matrix, documented process changes, and control plan.

Deactivate Pop-up Blockers
You should deactivate any pop-up blockers, spam filters, and company firewalls that could prevent the WebEx client platform or web-based course from working properly. Third-party toolbars such as Bing, Yahoo, and Google should also be disabled due to their own pop-up blocking capabilities.
