Professional Experience

Mike Kelly has more than 20 years of experience in the statistics, quality, risk, finance, and engineering professions. As an executive for several Fortune 100 companies, he was responsible for deploying, driving, and sustaining Lean and Six Sigma programs.

As an ASQ Master Black Belt instructor for 16 years, Mike teaches and coaches executives, champions, belts, and quality professionals through ASQ programs. In addition, he has coached hundreds of executives, champions, Black Belts, and Green Belts in the industries where he deployed Lean Six Sigma.

Mike supports ASQ through several volunteer activities. He has served on the Speaker Selection Committee for multiple ASQ Six Sigma and quality conferences; the Six Sigma Forum Design Committee; the ASQ Six Sigma Forum Website Committee; and the editorial review board for Six Sigma Forum Magazine. He has spoken at the Six Sigma roundtable and published multiple articles in Six Sigma Forum Magazine.

Mike is an ASQ Fellow, and currently holds ASQ certifications as a Master Black Belt, Six Sigma Black Belt, and Quality Engineer. He has experience coaching and completing continuous improvement projects in industries such as healthcare, finance, medical device, retail, automotive, glass manufacturing, information technology, third-party service providers, sterilization, maritime, agriculture, defense, pharmaceutical, industrial products, off-shoring, on-shoring, and telecommunications.
