Question:
As a public school district we are nearing the completion of a five year
cycle of strategic planning based on a traditional model for a public sector
organization: mission, beliefs, strategic parameters, objectives, strategies.
We are currently assessing the benefits of this model and examining the
next steps.
What strategies would you recommend for assessing/evaluating
the impact of strategic planning in our organization?
-What would you recommend as the next steps following a five year cycle
of strategic planning?
- What alternative planning models might we consider as we plan for next
steps?
-Are there organizations, or more specifically school districts, that you
would identify as having implemented best practices in the area
of continuous strategic planning?
