Reduction of Yarn Packing Defects Using Six Sigma Methods: A Case Study

Abstract: By using the standard Six Sigma DMAIC model, this Indian textile company was able to reduce rejection during packing of finished yarn cones by measuring the current performance level and initiating proper remedial action.
