Abstract

Knowledge and organizational culture are two of the main driving forces behind high-performance organizations. While culture is often a driving point to success, organizations tend to overlook knowledge, also known as human capital. Between high-level employees retiring or transferring jobs, organizations will fail to transfer that knowledge to other employees. Organizations must establish a strategic knowledge plan to ensure that the transfer of knowledge from person to person is never lost.
