Abstract

When establishing a standardized management system such as ISO 9001, various criticisms, problems and risks may arise. The authors parallel seven risks of implementing a standardized management system with the seven deadly sins: pride, envy, wrath, sloth, greed, gluttony and lust. They also present seven virtues and how they can protect you from these inherent risks when implementing a management system.
