Abstract

Problem solving often is challenging, and success is not guaranteed. While skills in analytical methods certainly are necessary, we have found that these are insufficient on their own. We can rarely “number crunch” our way to success. Rather, we must integrate the practical and graphical aspects with the analytical, and effectively use the six skills discussed previously. With this holistic approach, we ensure that the odds of success are much more in our favor.
