Abstract

Artificial intelligence (AI) no longer is a futuristic concept or just the topic of sci-fi movies. Much like the internet, personal computers and cars in their respective eras, AI is poised to reshape humanity and life as we know it. AI is here to stay, and it’s your choice to either ignore it or embrace it. This column explores the opportunities and challenges associated with the widespread adoption of AI. It provides an overview of some currently available standards and tools, and offers guidance on how to start using them.
