Often, people in the midst of a career transition feel discouraged because they are competing with candidates who may be better qualified for the position or who have worked in higher-stature positions at more prestigious organizations. While you can’t control your competition, you can differentiate yourself from it by demonstrating higher levels of customization, preparation, and diversity.
