Abstract

The primary focus of quality management is to meet customer requirements and strive to exceed customer expectations. Sustained success is achieved when an organization attracts and retains customer confidence. A new concept of quality management is that quality is conformance to customer expectations. This makes customer satisfaction even more central to the delivery of quality. The four main stages of project quality management are quality planning, quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement.
